Robert M. Harnish Received his Ph.D. in Philosophy and Linguistics from MIT, and is Professor of Philosophy and of Linguistics at the University of Arizona (emeritus). His main research interests are philosophy of language (especially pragmatics), early analytic philosophy (especially Frege), and cognitive science (experimental pragmatics). CV.
Current Research
He is currently working on two books: Frege's Philosophy of Language, and Moods and Performances.
