Double majoring in Economics and PPEL makes perfect sense for those who would like to expand on the economics topics explored in PPEL courses.
PPEL allows for up to 12 credit hours to be used simultaneously in both majors (double-dipping). Students may automatically double-dip from ECON 200 and three upper-division Economics courses to be used in the PPEL Track. (These course exceptions are made by your PPEL advisor. This means that your ECON courses will reside in your Economics major on your advisement report.)
