The Saint Louis University Philosophy Department, in conjunction with the undergraduate Philosophy Club, is issuing a call for papers to be presented at its seventh annual Undergraduate Philosophy Conference! The conference will take place on March 29 and 30, 2019 at Saint Louis University. The Keynote address will be given by Dr. David Wong, Professor of Philosophy at Duke University and author of a number of books on topics within moral relativism.
Undergraduate students are invited to submit their papers to be read by January 31, 2019. Conference length papers (3,000 word max) prepared for blind review on any topic within philosophy are welcome. Please send submissions to email@example.com in .pdf format and include a brief (250 word max) abstract. All accepted papers will be presented during thirty minute sessions, which includes the reading/presentation of the paper and ten minutes for Q&A. Notifications of acceptances will be announced via email by February 28, 2019.
Every year, Saint Louis University’s Undergraduate Philosophy Conference provides undergraduates with a chance to formally present their work and receive constructive feedback from other philosophers, including professionals.
