Regents Professor Julia Annas elected to the American Philosophical Society

Regents Professor of Philosophy Julia Annas has been elected to the American Philosophical Society, the oldest learned honorary society in the United States, having been founded by Benjamin Franklin in 1743.

Election to this highly prestigious society, which includes prominent scholars from the sciences, arts and humanities as well as distinguished public figures, signals accomplishment at the highest level.
