Getting from Social Justice to Creation Justice: What Would it Take?


Modern theories of justice, as distinct from those of indigenous peoples, focus on human populations and on society's built environment. What would it take to stretch social justice to creation justice so as to include the full community of life, its biotic and abiotic elements together?  Do deep religious traditions and those of indigenous peoples make contributions that modernity has overlooked or dismissed?
