On October 10-11, 2014, the Center for the Philosophy of Freedom at the University of Arizona will be hosting a workshop for papers to be included in the Oxford Handbook of the Philosophy of Freedom, edited by David Schmidtz for Oxford University Press. All are welcome to attend! The location is the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, at 7000 North Resort Drive, Tucson, AZ. Lunch will be provided. Information about the schedule and how to access the papers are coming soon.
We are fortunate to have a distinguished group of philosophers presenting papers at the conference. They include: Richard Arneson (UC San Diego), Mark Budolfson (Princeton), Jerry Gaus (Arizona), Ryan Hanley (Marquette), David Keyt (Washington), Fred Miller (Bowling Green), Eddy Nahmias (Georgia State), Mark Pennington (King’s College, London), and David Sobel (Syracuse). This workshop is made possible with a generous grant from the John Templeton Foundation.
To attend the workshop, get access to papers, and be included in lunches, please RSVP by emailing Stephen Stich at firstname.lastname@example.org . If you can, please specify the days you expect to attend (Friday, or Saturday, or both) so that we can make appropriate food arrangements. Also let us know of any dietary restrictions.
