Hack Arizona 2019

Hack logoThe largest hackathon in the southwest is back giving everyone, regardless of major or experience level, an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with technology alongside students, companies, and mentors at the University of Arizona. It is open for all students - freshmen to post-doc - including students at Pima and all UA campuses.

Dates: January 18-20, 2019
Hack Arizona is sponsored by some of the best and most exciting companies in the world including: Jacobs, Microsoft, Modular Mining, Amazon, Google, Hexagon Mining, Raytheon, Hedera Hashgraph, Hydrant, State Farm, Honeywell, Pinterest, USAA, Simpleview, and many others! All of these companies have mentors on site and are actively recruiting students looking for internships & full time employment in the technology industry.

We have 24+ workshops and educational sessions planned. Topics include:

  • iOS/Android development
  • Blockchains / Distributed Ledgers
  • Data Visualization
  • Web Development
  • Natural Language Processing

  • Growth Engineering

Enjoy free breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks throughout the weekend! Also, teams of 1-4 students are able to compete for prizes such as Apple watches, Airpods, Amazon gift cards, and many others, by building projects or participating in our non-tech activities! Full schedule at hackarizona.org.
