I joined the department in 2019 after receiving a B.A. in philosophy from The Ohio State University. I'm originally from Chengdu, where I enjoyed most of my childhood and teenage years. Tucson is surprisingly reminiscent of Chengdu in a lot of aspects, but living in a desert has still been quite a novel experience for me.

My philosophical interests are broad, but they tend to converge on the intersections of value theory and metaphysics. Currently, I’m interested in social and political philosophy, ethics, metaphysics, feminist philosophy, philosophy of gender, philosophy of mind, logic/semantics, and history of early analytic philosophy.

Pronouns: they/them.
