Uphaar Dooling

M.A. Student

I am a second-year M.A. student studying philosophy at the University of Arizona. Although my academic interests are broad, I am primarily concerned with topics in cognitive and computational neuroscience and the philosophy of mind.

Specifically, I am interested in Predictive Processing/Coding, Bayesianism, moral cognition, concept acquisition and development, and topics in human cognitive evolution. I am currently working on a paper that situates moral judgment and decision-making within the Predictive Processing framework to provide a viable account of judgment formation that is not constrained by the traditional Rationalist and Social Intuitionist dichotomy.
