Philosophy majors in the Honors College who wish to graduate with Honors must complete an Honors Thesis under the direction of a philosophy department faculty member. For help in planning and researching the thesis topic, finding a professor to direct the thesis, and getting enrolled for the thesis credits, contact the Honors Faculty Advisor, Dr. Marga Reimer.
PPEL majors in the Honors College who wish to graduate with Honors must complete an Honors Thesis under the direction of any faculty member in the student's area of interest in PPEL. (The faculty member may be from departments other than Philosophy, Politics, Economics and Law.) The six credits for the Honors thesis may be applied to the PPEL Track. To discuss the thesis topic, get approval to use it in the track, and get enrolled, contact the faculty advisor for PPEL Advanced Standing students, Dr. Michael Gill.
PHilosophy and PPEL majors should also meet with an Honors College Advisor each semester to ensure they understand and meet the Honors College requirements for graduation. Honors Advisor information is HERE.
