Dr. Julia Annas wins the 2018-19 Graduate College Teaching and Mentoring Awards

Congratulations to Dr. Julia Annas for being one of two winners of the 2018-2019 Graduate College Teaching and Mentoring Awards presented by the Office of the Provost. This award demonstrates her dedication to teaching and mentoring graduate students at the Unversity of Arizona.

Dr. Annas teaches classes on ancient philosophy, virtue ethics, and has written books over a wide range of ancient philosophy, from Plato to the Hellenistic period. She recently published Virtue and Law in Plato and Beyond through Oxford University Press.
