Megan Theesfeld

Academic Advisor (Main Campus)

Social Sciences 201

Hello! My name is Megan Theesfeld and I’m the Academic Advisor for the Bachelor of Arts programs in Philosophy, Philosophy/Politics/Economics/Law (PPEL), Arabic, and Middle Eastern/North African Studies (MENAS). Before joining the team in SBS, I previously worked in academic advising, career services, orientation, and other student affairs functional areas. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and my Master of Education in Student Affairs from Marquette University. My main goal as an advisor is to help students define success for themselves and build an academic plan that fits within their goals (both during and beyond their college years). Being from Wisconsin, in my free time I love cheering for the Milwaukee Bucks basketball team. I also enjoy exploring Tucson’s hiking, coffee shop, and restaurant scenes – recommendations are always accepted!
