Dissertation: Kant's Metaphysical Deduction and the Intellectual Origin of the Categories

I enjoy thinking about many issues in philosophy, including philosophy of science, metaphysics, moral psychology, and ethics. I like to explore these interests through the philosophy of Immanuel Kant. In my dissertation, I provide a novel account of the origin of Kant's categories and of the metaphysical deduction of the categories, a key argument in Kant's Critique of Pure Reason that is lesser-known but just as central as its transcendental counterpart.
